In May, Alternative Plants received confirmation from EcoCert Greenlife that four of our ingredients have been approved according to the COSMOS standard. The approved ingredients include DragonCell and JuniCell, which are plant cell culture-derived actives for skin protection and regeneration, as well as SilvaCell, an anti-acne ingredient.

In early May, the co-founders of Alternative Plants, Anna Ramata Stunda and Mārtiņš Borodušķis, embarked on an exciting journey to participate in North America's largest trade show dedicated to cosmetic product development - Supplier's Day in the vibrant metropolis of New York City. This event marked a significant milestone for Alternative Plants as we ventured into the American cosmetic market, thanks to our newest partner, Paradigm Science Inc, who not only extended the invitation but also provided a platform to showcase our innovative plant stem cell ingredients

From April 16th to April 18th, the CEO, Anna Ramata-Stunda, together with Sales Project Director Kitija Paula Melnbarde, spent three enriching days at In-Cosmetics Global in Paris—the leading cosmetic trade show for personal care ingredients.
